About the translator
My name is Aliisa Alasaari and I run Kääntöpiste as a freelancer. I have graduated from Tampere University with a master's degree on Multilingual Communication and Translation Studies. As a translator I am interested in both factual texts and more creative genres of writing.

I translate shorter texts from Spanish and Swedish into Finnish as well.

The mission
We commonly talk about a language barrier, but I picture it as a flowing river. As a translator, I wish to become a bridge between people who don't share the same language.
